OUR HISTORY
Two brothers-in-law.
One shared calling.
Texas Traditions Roofing began as a shared calling between two brothers-in-law. Mike Pickel and Gary Emory decided to combine their strengths and start a roofing company focused on giving clients a positive roofing experience, and on giving back to their community in the process.
Like our name says, we believe in doing business based on strong, traditional Texas values. We are an experienced, highly professional local team, and we are working hard to establish a Tradition of Trust for our customers and our community.
Today we serve residential and commercial clients throughout Central Texas from our headquarters at 508 Cedar Drive in Georgetown. Georgetown residents voted us Georgetown's Best Roofer in 2023, 2024 and 2025, and the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce named us its 2025 Small Business of the Year.

Recognition and credentials
We are a GAF Master Elite contractor, a certification held by only 2% of roofing contractors in North America, and we earned the GAF President's Club Award in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. We are also a GAF Master Select contractor, a Carlisle Certified Applicator, a Certified GAF Solar Shingle Installer, Haag Certified for inspections, licensed through RCAT and fully insured.
Giving back
Community involvement is at the heart of everything we do. From nonprofits and advocacy groups to schools and first responders, we support organizations that make a difference throughout Williamson County, including Isaiah 117 House Williamson County, WCCAC Purse Bingo, Fifty Fellas and the Georgetown Chamber Golf Tournament.
